The Anchor Community Band have written and are recording a song based on older peoples’ life experiences to celebrate the positive aspects of aging which are often overlooked.

We have worked with people over the age of 60 around the country to write the words to a charity single which is being be recorded by older people living in our care homes and retirement housing properties across England, known collectively as The Anchor Community Band.
All the money raised from sales of the single will go towards Contact the Elderly, a national charity which aims to combat loneliness and isolation faced by older people who live alone.
