The European Year of Active Ageing - and after it is over?

After it has all ended, what will be left? The question besets organisers of grand events from the Lord Mayor’s show to the Olympic Games. On this occasion, I refer to a lesser publicised event -  the grandly named European Year of Active Ageing and Intergenerational Solidarity (EY2012, for short). Welcome to Grey Pride Chris
Thank you for joining our community – you’ll find we’re a friendly bunch who like a good debate!
News on developments in our Grey Pride campaign calling for a dedicated Minister for Older People can be found in my blog entries.
Other hot topics Grey Priders on the site are discussing at the moment include the Budget and community events and resources.
We’ve achieved a great deal over the last year – be sure to check out our video of Grey Pride campaigners, including the Shadow minister for Care and Older People and Esther Rantzen, explaining why this campaign is so important to them.
I look forward to seeing you around the site and hearing your views on the wide range of issues we all tackle as ever-aging people!
