Last night I watched Inside Out TV Programme on BBC at 7.30pm. The programme was about the Welfare of older people.Top of the list was depression and isolation and who is going to pay for medical treatment for the elderly in the futureThe Government seem to skip over the issues and welfare of older people and to me we do not look after the elderly in this country at all and that is shameful.See More

Inside Out BBC TV Programme
Last night I watched Inside Out TV Programme on BBC at 7.30pm. The programme was about the Welfare of older people.
Top of the list was depression and isolation and who is going to pay for medical treatment for the elderly in the future
The Government seem to skip over the issues and welfare of older people and to me we do not look after the elderly in this country at all and that is shameful.

Research into loneliness in old age
I am doing some research in to elderly people who are lonely, I am looking for some feedback, so if you know of anyone or if anyone would like to contact me please do.
I am trying to find out what we can do about this.
if anyone has been through this but has had a positive outcome please let me know, I would be very interested to hear from anyone.

50plus Older People's Information Fair
Doncaster 50plus is holding another Older People's Information Fair on the 6th November in the Mansion House. The last one we had back in February was a huge success so we are hoping for more of the same.

I am really interested as we live in Llandudno, Wales where the population is the elderly and we need to get to them all.
