Doncaster 50plus

Oldie Composers

We created Oldie Composers to support Young songwriters, which supports Barnardo's.

We love the thought of people using their talents to help disadvantaged youngsters in this country.

BUT, the one thing I have learnt over the last year is that the young people who entered the competition, really enjoyed it. The top four who won the trip to London said it was an experience they would never forget.

Grey Pride Hits the Streets

A small group of Grey Priders hit the streets of Newcastle city centre recently, armed with clipboards and smiles in order to get as many signatures as possible.

 

In only 4 1/2 hours they coaxed 853 signatures out of Newcastle's shoppers and workers - even nabbing a few signatures from other charity campaigners!
