Just to let you know what Doncaster 50plus Older People's Parliament are up to.  We are in the process of organising a Older People's Information Day where we are hoping a good many organisations/groups will have a stand to promote themselves and also give information to all older people.

Over last weekend I spent a busy four days helping to run the local beer festival. The event has raised enough revenue to fund a number of both local and international charities. Just joined. Sixty eight years old. Have 4 children ages from 40 to 13. Still full-time employed as professional charity fundraiser. Looking at the petition - is there another way rather than a £70,000 a year rep for older people ?
