Breakfast boost for Grey Pride
Anchor’s Chief Executive Jane Ashcroft has spoken of the need for ‘a cabinet minister with clout’ to represent the interests of older people.
Appearing live on BBC’s Breakfast programme this morning to talk about today’s debate in the House of Commons on a Minister for Older People, she said there was a great need to join up all the services for older people, support families looking after older relatives, and enabling older people to carry on working should they wish…

NFOP supports Grey Pride
The National Federation of Occupational Pensioners (NFOP) had publically backed our campaign for the Government to appoint a Minister for Older People. Founded in 1930 and with 180 branches around the country, NFOP is the largest occupational pensioner organisation in the UK.
