Doncaster 50plus Roadshow

Hi to all of you, we held the launch of the Doncaster 50plus Roadshow on March 21st and it was very successful.  The roadshow was launched by our Civic Mayor Eva Hughes.  It was a good time for everyone to network and the buffet was brilliant, thanks to all who attended and a special thanks to our Civic Mayor.

This roadshow now will go throughout the Borough of Doncaster and will include a presentation on what 50plus is all about, campaign to end loneliness and the setting up of life cafes. 

we are wanting all community groups, TARA's, and orgnisations to take part.

 

We already have a couple of dates for the roadshow so that is great.

Yes they can, Doncaster 50plus is now wanting to cascade the roadshow throughout the borough of Doncaster to all community groups, Tenants & Residents Associations, and organisations, the roadshow will be about healthy eating, lifestyle, campaign to End Loneliness, and Life Cafes.  This will enable people espcially older people to make new friends, and it is a great way of them networking.

Can normal members of the public attend the roadshow? What kind of thing happens and how can they help?
