On the back of news coverage around the rights of grandparents who play a pivotal role in their families, it is interesting to see the contributions made by different generations and how roles are adapting in response to changes in family dynamics. 

With everyone adjusting to budget cuts and reforms, Grey Pride wanted to know if this meant changes to your family by running a poll asking “As a grandparent what do you see as your primary role?”

• Support 46.5%
• Keeping family traditions alive 15.3%
• My role has not changed 14.7%
• Dispensing wisdom 12.9%
• Helping look after the kids 10.6%
