As well as the Grey Pride online petition, a lot of great work is being carried out offline, with campaigners hitting the streets, printing out petitions and posting them in their local communities, and contacting their MPs to sign up and show their support for older people's issues.

With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that we've so far recorded over 20,000 signatures on our petition! This is an important milestone for us to have passed on our campaign to see a Minister for Older People be appointed. However, we still have a lot of work to do!

Our campaigners are still asking their MPs to sign the Early Day Motion to discuss the campaign in Parliament - 46 currently have - and others are using the downloadable petitions (that you can find here) to recruit the signatures of their families and friends. Every little really does help.
Stay tuned for more exciting news on our petition to see a Minister for Older People be appointed!
